Asparagus is one of nature’s true food heroes as a source of protein, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, and iron. Asparagus is also packed in the naturally occurring phytochemicals of glutathione, rutin, and folic acid. Asparagus, next to orange juice, is regarded as the second best whole foods source of folic acid. Folic acid is known to lower the risk of heart disease, colon cancer, liver disease, and spina bifida.
Gluthathione
Asparagus, along with avocados and watermelons, are particularly rich dietary sources of gluthathione. Gluthathione is a small protein composed of three amino acids: cysteine, glutamic acid, and glycine. Nutrition researchers have regarded it as the most valuable detoxifying agent in the human body. Gluthathione has also been called the “master antioxidant” that regulates the actions of lesser antioxidants such as vitamin A and vitamin E within the body. Dietary gluthathione intake from food sources such as asparagus has been associated with protection against certain forms of cancer in addition to potent anti-viral properties. Gluthathione is also a regenerator of immune cells.
Rutin
Rutin is a bioflavonoid that is highly concentrated in asparagus. Research has proven rutin to be vital in its ability to increase the strength of capillaries and regulate their permeability. Rutin’s real value is its ability to increase circulation to the lower limbs, by increasing the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood.

Fingernail and Tongue Analysis Tips.
Why does Dr Chi analyze the body based on the fingernails and tongue?
The fingernails show very openly characteristics that correspond to the different organs and bodily health. The fingernail regenerates every 6-8 months and shows the onset of illness markers slowly. The tongue replaces its top layer every 3 days. This fast rate of regrowth can trigger immediate detection of illness, faster than any other method.
A chronic disease would show up on both the nails and tongue, while a mild ailment may show up only on the tongue.
It is our plan to introduce this method of early self diagnosis as a health tool all can use.
Tips to Analyze Your Own Fingernails and Tongue
* Black thin line vertical on nail could be an indication of internal bleeding
* White spots on nail may be showing a hormone imbalance
* Red Cherry angiomas on the torso could be an indicator of estrogen dominance and sluggish liver. Sometimes the estrogen attacks the liver, so we look at both causes.
* Red dots on tongue could be showing estrogen dominance in women and men.
* Diagonal line on earlobe could be an indicator of heart disease.
* A crease in the middle of tongue shows digestive problems
* A brown wide line on the nail could be a sign of melanoma
* Red tip on tongue could be showing heart disease

There are ways your body will tell you when something is wrong. The following are some early signs of serious conditions to be aware of.
Stomach Cancer
Many people with chronic stomach conditions have the same symptoms all the time. However, if the symptoms suddenly change, medical help is called for. For example, if you have mild pain frequently, but suddenly have severe pain and/or burning, there is a likelihood of a more serious condition.

Does your child or the child of someone you know and love display hyperactivity symptoms? Do they have trouble staying focused? Have they been diagnosed or has it been suggested that it may be ADHD? Whatever your reason for reading this article, buckle your seatbelt and get ready to unhook from the mainstream ideas about ADHD and these gifted children.
Did you know that an estimated 5-10% of children ages 6-17 have been “diagnosed” with ADHD. It is also estimated that 2.5 million or more children are on drugs to manage the symptoms of ADHD. Why are the numbers so high and constantly increasing? Why do so many children have a brain that is different and labeled as ADHD? Have you ever asked these questions?

grocery store remedies

Aloe Plant
The Aloe Vera plant is very common and can be grown in the backyard in warmer climates or its stalks purchased in grocery stores. It is amazingly effective for many common ailments. The live plant contains Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Zinc. At our local chain grocery store, we can buy the aloe stalk for $1.99 each. We have learned an easy way to use the aloe gel in the plant for everyday health.
Place the aloe stalk on its back, the plumper side. With a sharp knife, fillet the underside with three cuts, one along the center and one on each side. Use the knife to slice the two outer layers away. Now, use a large spoon to scoop all the gel out and put it in a blender. Add a small amount of ice and water and blend until smooth. This makes enough for two drinks. It is best taken on an empty stomach.

Weight Loss
The New Year is a great time to detox and lose those holiday pounds.
Here are some tips:
1. A 30 minute fast walk daily gets your circulation going, helps you slough off toxins, improves mood and burns calories.
2. Try to eat a salad for one meal a day with chicken strips, tuna or turkey on top for protein.
3. Creative visualization can be a powerful weight loss tool. One client lost weight by visualizing that everytime she took a shower, her excess body fat rolled off her body and went right down the drain, never to be seen again. In a few months, she was down 20 pounds. Another idea is to silently repeat your ideal weight to yourself during your exercise. “125, 125, 125, 125……………….”
Dr Chi has several herbal formulas to assist with weight loss:

Fingernail and Tongue Diagnosis
Hello Friends,
Dr Chi visited us for his Fingernail and Tongue Analysis Event on August 31, 2009. It was a roaring success, like always, and he was able to consult with over 40 patients that day. Some people were amazed that he was able to pinpoint their illness by only looking at their nails and tongue. There were a number of people, some young, with cancer that he was able to see and offer natural alternatives to help and to rebuild the immune system. One had kidney issues and didn’t know it until Dr Chi questioned him. He now is taking Kidney Chi to remedy and forestall further problems.
We saw a lot of estrogen dominance, which shows in the form of red dots on the tongue and cherry angiomas on the torso. My own family member, a 5 year old, had been to three neurologists with a brain cyst. Dr Chi analyzed her tongue and determined she has estrogen dominance. We were amazed! Estrogen dominance is a precursor to cysts in the body. Now she is taking Myomin to balance her hormones and the excess estrogen.
We were very fortunate to be able to interview Dr Chi in the studio while he was in town. He did a fabulous job of explaining his Fingernail and Tongue Analysis Techniques and his most popular herbal formulations. He also explains the number one ailment he sees in America today and his remedies for that ailment. We are editing that interview now and it will be available in a few weeks on this blog and on Youtube. Stay tuned for the Dr Chi Interview Part 1 and Part 2.
Thanks and Think Perfect Health!
