This article discusses the source of menopause symptoms as well as some supplements to help a woman going through menopause.

Some of the symptoms of menopause include mood swings, sleep problems, weight gain, headaches and hot flashes.

For example, the author recommends supplementing Serotonin because it’s a “feel good neurotransmitter.” Ways to supplement serotonin are 500 to 1,000 mg of Tryptophan on an empty stomach and 85 mg of Saffron which is thought to act like a serotonin re-uptake inhibitor.

This article also recommends supplementing for the symptoms of low estrogen with cranberry extract. Because of physical changes due to low estrogen, urinary tract infections can be more prevalent and cranberry extract can help reduce the chances of UTIs.

At Chi Analysis, we have products that can help with the symptoms of menopause as well as balance the estrogen hormones in the body. Myomin is a hormone balancer and Kidney Chi will help with UTIs and other kidney problems.

In our research, we have found consistently that migraines can be triggered by hormones and xenoestrogens.

NPR just posted an article with findings from a neurologist discussing that women suffer from more migraines than men due to hormones. Read this informative article from the NPR Morning Edition.

Dr. Chi will tell patients during a fingernail and tongue analysis that hormones will cause a variety of symptoms from migraines to belly fat. His recommendation is to take Myomin to reduce the amount of estrogen in your body. In addition to reducing estrogen, it is a good idea to reduce your exposure to estrogen in the environment. You can eliminate soy from the diet and reduce the use of plastics in your cups and dishes. To learn more about xenoestrogens and ways to reduce estrogen exposure, read our article on Estrogen Dominance.

Hello readers,

It is urgent that we avoid use of antibiotics for ordinary ailments like colds and flu and only use them for serious issues.

Please see the below article:

NaturalNews) On June 28, 2010 the FDA issued a draft of new guidelines urging meat producers to refrain from using antibiotics to promote livestock growth, calling the practice an “urgent public health issue.”

“Because many bacteria can transfer between human animals, and because many of the same drugs to treat humans are also used on livestock, health advocates have singled out agricultural antibiotic use as an area of major concern.

According to the Union for Concerned Scientists, 70 percent of all antibiotics used in the United States in 2001 went to livestock for growth-promotion purposes, while another 14 percent went to animals for disease prevention or treatment.”

Estrogen is a naturally occurring hormone in the human body. It is essential to both women and men and is natural as a reproductive hormone. Estrogen’s primary role is the development of female characteristics. However, many of us have estrogen dominance symptoms to be aware of.

Estrogen is also an important hormone in women of child bearing age. It maintains bone strength and plays a role in cell activity, signaling cells to divide and multiply.

However in today’s incredibly toxic world, our bodies are assaulted every day by environmental toxins.

What are the symptoms of estrogen dominance?

Symptoms of estrogen dominance are:

1. Red dots on the tongue

2. Cherry angiomas on the torso. (Raised strawberry red dots)

3. White spots on the nail

4. Any of the below ailments can be tied to estrogen dominance

Are you one of the many that need an estrogen blocker?

Due to the alarming increase in rates of endometriosis, cysts, fibroids and estrogen related cancers, such as breast, ovarian, uterine and prostate cancers, researchers began studying possible causes. What they discovered was disturbing.

They learned that certain chemicals in the environment exhibit estrogen-like qualities and can send bogus signals to the system. These estrogen hormones are substances or chemical compounds that are foreign to the human body and they mimic the effect of hormones. These then act like estrogen and hence are called xenoestrogens. When xenoestrogens enter the body, they attach to receptors just like estrogen and disrupt endocrine functions. In addition to causing cancer, these xenoestrogens also interfere with reproductive abilities of various species.

If you have symptoms of estrogen dominance, take note of some of these chemicals to avoid:

1. DDT and PCBs have been banned for their estrogen mimicking characteristics. Dr. Mary Wolff at Mt. Sinai, School of Medicine, NY in 1993, found that women with breast cancer had “significantly higher concentrations of DDT in their blood than women without breast cancer.”

2. Pthalates , chemicals used in plasticizers pose ever greater damage because they can leach from plastic containers. Styrofoam trays, plastic toys and even medical supplies can contain Pthalates. Pthalates are proven to cause BPH or prostate enlargement and increased growth of breast cancer cells. Another compound, bisphenol ( BPA) has been found to leach out of the coatings inside aluminum drink cans. BPA causes increased growth of breast cancer cells.

3. Heavy metals like cadmium are also considered environmental hormones. Lead and cadmium used in agricultural lands have shown increased endometriosis rates in 3 counties in China.

Some studies show an increased risk for prostate cancer or testicular cancer in men who are farmers or have been exposed to Cadmium while making batteries, welding or electroplating.

The dangers these pseudo-estrogens pose on both men’s and women’s health are of great concern to all of us.

What can we do about estrogen dominance?

1. Take steps to help rid our bodies of heavy metals. Try Metal Flush, a Chi-Analysis product that cleanses heavy metals.

2. To remove other toxins, try Veinlite, Bathdetox and Asparagus Extract.

3. More importantly, to combat the effects of this common condition of estrogen dominance, Myomin is an estrogen blocker that blocks the conversion of other hormones to estrogen. Many doctors familiar with Myomin recommend it as an estrogen blocker for all adults and children exposed to xenoestrogens.

LJ, Texas, had excruciating pain in her right side and was told she must have her gallbladder removed in two weeks. She lost 14 lbs and was unable to eat. She began taking Debile, a Chi product known to help with gall stones and gall bladder issues. Several days later, her pain lessened and she was able to eat. Several weeks later, her pain continued to lessen and she got a second opinion from another surgeon who told her that she only had a 50/50 chance of needing the gall bladder operation. This week, she wrote that her pain is much less most days and she will continue the Debile.

VC, Dunedin, FL, has an allergy to egg whites. When she takes the Digestron prior to eating eggs, she has no adverse reaction.

J. Blair, ND from NJ, has a patient who had a cyst under the armpit. After taking Myomin for one year, the cyst was eliminated.

GC, Tampa, notices much more energy when he goes to the gym after taking OxyPower. He can walk much longer on the elliptical trainer and is much less breathless.

SC, Clearwater, has no more bloating or gas when taking the Digestron.

DM, Largo, had a severe bladder infection with great pain. She took Kidney Chi and within a short time, her pain improved greatly.

A Testimonial by Our Guest Blogger, Greg Colvin

Exercise is a necessary part of a healthy lifestyle. Finding time to work out with today’s busy work schedule can be difficult. So I want to make most of the time that I spend during my workout routine and be as productive as possible. I like an edge and I found a supplement that maximizes the time I have in the gym.

My little secret was introduced to me by a friend. With this product I have been able to exercise for longer periods without tiring. I have found that I can increase the resistance on the eliptical trainer machine (my preferred aerobic exercise) and stay on the machine longer. I can lift heavier weights with more repetitions than before I began taking Oxypower. This is a plus when attempting to get the most bang for my buck from my gym membership.

Researching Oxypower, I found that it enhances the oxygen supply to the red blood cells. Hey, the more oxygen in the blood, the better the workout. It is kind of like bringing an oxygen tank to the gym with you without the stigma or the rolling cart. Oxypower contains an herb that grows in high altitudes and has been used in Tibetan medicine for centuries. I guess that is why after telling some friends who ski about Oxypower, they reported back to me that it helped minimize the effects of altitude sickness and increased their stamina on the slopes. This has allowed them to spend more time on the mountain. I found that this was because of Oxypower’s ability to increase muscle hemoglobin that improves the function of the lungs.

Because it improves the function of the lungs, friends have told me that Oxypower has helped clear up their lung congestion.
Oxypower I also found out reduces serum lactic acid for better oxygen delivery to the organs and tissues for increased mitochondrial function. Mitochondria relates to that part of the cell that turns food into energy. So it’s good for after exercise as well, because it reduces the fatigue by eliminating the lactic acid that builds up in the muscles.

This is my little tip on how to increase your workout results.

I found OxyPower online at www.chi-analysis.com.
